Here's how you do it. Clean it the week before you show it as it will only get dirty again between now and then.

Mom in law is coming the 25th, and step daughters are coming May 14th...I HAVE to get off my duff and get some things done, but I don't wanna! William does the basics most of the time, but it's not my idea of "Mom clean"...and since this is the first time the daughters have come, it needs to be spotless as I'm sure they'll be reporting back to their mother, and I don't want to give any "ammunition"!!

I'm not so good, but DH doesn't do so bad since he is retired and I'm not.

Moving can be good. i just did it in Sept. If there was something (oh boy, was there!) that I hadn't touched or worn in a year it went to the Church or garbage.

I'm with ZaZa. Everytime I get a divorce, I keep the house. Just kidding. LOL I don't really worry about it until the DH says something, then it's get busy and clean. Maybe we should get together and clean each others houses. Kind of like a shop hop, but with cleaning thrown in.

I love to watch the hoarding shows on TV because they make my cluttered house look clean. LOL

I don't want to be remember as the person with a spotless house - but some one that loved life and made a difference.

I saw a plaque once that said " A house is not a home unless you can write I Love You in the dust on the furniture".

I used to be better but decided I did not want people to say she was a good housekeeper. I want to be remembered for the things I create and love doing.
