It's funny. I love aprons, and have many hand sewn ones. But I rarely wear them. Usually over a holiday.

I wear them. Hubby calls them a "bib". I recently sewed a retro apron that is pretty cute. I had to insert cloth to cover the chest area ---- where I tend to drop. I think if we ate the table we could avoid the whole thing.

I use a apron when cooking large meals like holidays. I'm alone so when cooking for one self I normally don't use an apron. I have made a few for my mom but she thinks they are to nice to use. I need to make some for me!!

I love aprons, especially the retro ones. I wear them but not often. I have a collection of my Mom's aprons. My grand-daughter made her papa & I very special aprons last Christmas. I made one as a teacher's gift on Valentines Day since my grand-daughters class was decorating cookies for their party, I also made a matching one for my grand-daughter. They both loved them. They were made with Valentine themed fabric, cute.

I wear one on holidays and sometimes if I'm wearing something I don't want to get splattered on when I'm cooking. I always wear one when my DGD is here "helping" me cook, so does she.

I wear my apron whenever I am cooking and there is a chance of messing up my clothes. :):):)

I've worn aprons since a little girl. My grandmother would make little aprons for me. Aprons for me are nostalgic and I like wearing them. Besides, it saves a lot of scrubbing stains out from my clothes.

Plus, my whole family HAS to wear them when we get together to make homemade tamales during the Christmas holidays. Yes, even the men and children have to wear them if they want to eat tamales. It's a group project and every participates.

I have been looking for a pattern for the "cobbler" style apron. It buttons on the back and has no ties. Anyone know where I can find this pattern? Thanks.
