I am 39 for the 30th time DGD wants to know why her Mom is older than I. I told her that is her Mom's problem. She just looked at me and shook her head. Darn teenagers.

I'm 59. I don't mind telling my age. It's like popeye said, "I am what I am"

I used to tease my grandson and tell him I was 59 and holding. He looked at me for a bit and then asked, "How old will you be when you let go?"

This absolutely cracked me up. I am 65, mom of 4 girls (yes, I believe I still have my sanity) and grandmother to 7. After what I have been through in the last 7 years, I wouldn't ever want to go back. I like 65 and older just fine, PLUS my parents are still alive and healthy, living in their own home yet, the one I was born from. Mom is 93 and Dad is 95. We meet every Wednesday for lunch. God has been VERY good to me in that regard.
