How old are We?
#281
I don't like to tell people how old I really am. I usually tell people I am 35 (I am not by the way). One of my best friends found out how old I really am and couldn't believe that I had fooled her so long and that I was only a year younger than she. But people believe me when I say that age. Probably because I look young, I have protected my skin since I was 16 not tanning, smoking or drinking - well not too much :-). At some point I plan on having a face lift. I don't have a lot of wrinkles yet but can definitely see the sagging of skin. But that I hope is at least 10-15 years away.

I guess I am your DH's idea of who should quilt. I started quilting at the ripe of old age of 63,,, two years ago. Why didn't I start sooner? Three kids, teaching full time, and trying to keep the house in order. Regardless, quilters come in all ages and sizes...I was just a slow starter.... proud to be a quilter now!

I am 45 (how did that happen?), and I am at one of the happiest points of my life.
I keep looking at my classmates and wondering why they all look so old! LOL I guess I must to but I sure don't feel like it.
I remember looking at my mom at this age and thinking that she looked so much older than I did - yikes.

Wow - there sure are a lot of young chicks on here. I'm 78 an still learning. Have only been working with quilts off and on for a couple of years and I love it.
I love all of you 'young-uns' on here. You are still making memories.
