At work we have two screens but one computer - well, we're on a network so have multiple servers- but the two screens work like one large one so you can have multiple programs running and files open. Kind of fun how the cursor jumps from one screen to the next.

I find when I set my laptop up and work on it with my computer I will forget which keyboard to use when I want to type something in, then have that frustration flash when there's no response where I'm looking

I know the kvm your talking about. I just like the multiple keyboards. They are labled so I know which is what. I am just faster moving from keyboard to keyboard. One OS is The new Windows 7 that I am testing, one a Mac Leopard OS and one is Vista.. I have in the picture to the lower left another Mac laptop (it has a magazine laying on it) with Linux OS.

I bow down before your Royal Nerd Highness! And have serious computer envy. I've switched to an imac but am still using a 6 year old pc laptop that is sooooooooo slow.

Talk about multi-tasking.....

You have to be the Queen of Multi-tasking....

I have nothing but admiration, I can barely
keep my "one" computer and "one" keyboard
going......

Are you available for consultations on computer
problems?

(My SIL and DS are great at computers but can't
explain to me HOW to do anything........I will
probably forever be computer illiterate....lol

Joan and anyone else, feel free to ask me any computer related questions, whether it be software or even the dern machine itself. I am proficient in All Windows OS's and Mac OS and pretty much any and all software that goes along with it. And If I dont have the answer right away, it will get it for you quickly.Had to teach my neighbor Powerpoint and my best friend Photoshop.
The only piece of software that totally irks me is Electric Quilt. But I think thats mostly because I have not really taken the time to sit down and work with it.

feel free to email me anytime if need be [email protected]

If you are sitting there using two eyes to watch three screens, and two hands to type on three keyboards, when do you get to do any sewing?
