My Grandparents, Mom and her sisters lived in Minnewaukan on Devils Lake. I was there in '01 and it was starting to be a problem then. I got a pic from a cousin who lives in Bismarck that visited just last year and it's really gotten bad. What a shame and it seems that they can't stop it.

up here in washington we are used to a lot wet stuff, but the cold is hanging on . worst in years. plants in greenhouse even froze.

I'm with ya on that! Our power was out when I woke about 3 and we just got it back on a little while ago. I was getting worried as both freezers are totally full! We decided on chili for tonight in case we lose the power again. I love cooking with GAS!

I wish we had some of that we've had 3/4" of moisture in the last 8 months. That's is. No rain, no snow, the winds blow,gusting to 50 miles an hour, we're getting fires everywhere, and I'm allergic to what ever is blowing around. Third DR. appt. yesterday for my allergies since January. Then when we get rain, it'll be heavy and run off everything. I'd like a month of nice gentle rain. Sure wish everyone who's getting all this rain should send some our way!!!!!!!!!!
