I just refuse to go there. Those "Old" films were all new when I was young

My daughters love the original rather than remakes, like Music Man and Cheaper By The Dozen. When my 19 year old was very young we owned and watched all the Shirley Temple movies. She called her Shirleyann Temple and loved her dearly. There are some really great movies today, but give me an oldie any ole' day.

I stayed up till 2am last night watching Lost Horizon. a 1937 Frank Capra film with Ronald Colman and a young Jane Wyatt. We all need a Shangria-la in our lives. Great movie!

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is my all time favorite movie! Tonight, we watched Top Hat from 1935 with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. I always wanted to tap dance like them! I love the older movies.

Mr. Roberts is one of my favorites. I usually check out TCM before any other channel on TV. Have been known to stay up way too late watching good movies. Love the Gregory Peck movie where he's a priest.
