I just heard that one area got 50 inches in 24 hrs in the tug hill plateau. This is an area thaT GET MOISTURE FROM THE GREAT lEAKES AND IT JUST SNOWS a lot...Where I live, we are on the very eastern edge, and can get a bit of it now and then.

I hope you got home ok ,and tell so more about those cookies :-D

Thanks everyone, I did get home fine just slow going. We didn't get as much as some. DH got 24 inches on Friday where he works in Arcade. We are 80 miles from Lake Erie so Lake Effect Snow doesn't usually get this far over. We didn't get the wind, thank goodness.

Trupeach I'm just across the river from St. Pats. I can see the steeple out my kitchen window. The church started doing a latin mass a few years back and now has a large congregation. We go to the UMC by the park.

Knot Sew you got a bunch up there too. My brother just moved to Stillwater from Fort Edward. Stay warm this winter.

I did get some cookies stirred up and the bar cookies I made are already gone. I had screws taken out of my ankle 2 weeks ago and discovered I can't stand near as long as I'd like too. The kids will be home from college on Thursday and then I'll have extra help.
