Honey, you are barely old enough to drink! And believe me, you drink enough, you will believe that you should get married.

I have a 21 yo son, and I am so happy he is just living life. He works hard and plays hard, volunteers for the fire dept. I commend you on just living life for a while. I think that you will be happier when you choose to settle down and get married.

I met my husband at 32.. first born at 35, twins at 36!! I could not be happier and my kids, now 25 and 26 are not married. All living on their own. They are just getting to the point of looking... just be happy and enjoy being you. Be up front with your friends and have a line prepared to tell them how you feel and they'll understand.. Happy quilting!!!!

Please do NOT rush into marriage...for any reason, but especially not for one as silly as a friend's mother's comment. There is a whole world out there for you to discover and lots of people to meet. Just in case you are worried about missing your chance, my lovely, dear DIL of 5 years just gave us our first grandchild 8 weeks ago (thus my name!) and my DDIL will turn 42 this week! Once you marry, hopefully it will be for a very long time...no need to rush into it.
