OMG The article mentioned she thought her cat was gone because of all the blood. Cats were ok so where did the blood come from? Gaters and snakes...I'll take the snow thank you!

I don't know. Maybe the gater hurt itself climbing under the fence? Or another way?

I couldn't deal with something like this. The worst thing we have to deal with is the deer devouring our yard.

OMGoodness!!!

My aunt had a doggie door and found she was getting raccoons in her kitchen!!!! They had been blaming the poor dog for the constant messes -- garbage all over the kitchen floor -- until one night they caught the coons scurrying out the door!!! You can bet that doggie got lots and lots of treats to make up for being blamed all that time!!

Awww poor doggie. So glad your aunt discovered the raccoons but what a shock that must have been for her to find in her kitchen! I’m sure her dog was given lots of love after that. :-P :-P

This is the reason I don’t like doggie doors anything can get in.
I think what creeps me out about the gator story is that I saw a news video about it and the gator broke through the enclosed screen too. The lady wasn’t home and the neighbors could hear the gator knocking things over on her patio (they had no idea what was going on.) I never thought they would try to break through a screen. On the other hand they were here first and we built up around them.

A big For Sale sign comes to mind. Move to a second floor.
