2 or 3 times a week I have the worst insomnia! I just can't sleep, lay there tossing & turning, waking up my guy, try no tv, then channel surfing. It's better when I just get up, otherwise I really feel like garbage in the morning. It makes him crazy, he likes to be in bed by 8 because he gets up before 5 for work. I've tried so many things, if it happens again tomorrow night I'm going to have a nice cocktail before bed
Off to do some sewing

I am also a night owl. If you can't sleep, get up! Why toss and turn?

I agree. Sometimes I get up really early, but I have to be quiet because I don't want to wake the dogs. lol

My tips for a good night sleep -
Dark room
Alarm clock AWAY from the bed as far as possible
Get some vigorous exercise at some time during the day.
No caffeine after noon.

You may have a sleep disorder which can ultimately have some serious side effects on your health. Talk to your doctor.

I have this when I up my steroid dose for PMR, do not toss/turn you get stressed ; I get up and sit in my parker knoll recliner in front of the wood burner with a quilt on me, put my head back on cushion and play tv crime v low, it often works but at least it is more relaxing. good luck.
