I noticed that you used the word "crib" instead of manger or something else. I was wondering if this was a German thing, since this is what my Father always called the nativity scene.

In German it is a "Krippe", and on the American blogs there is often spoken of a "crib quilt" so I thought it's the right word!!! And when you mentioned "manger" I remembered a Christmas song we learned at school where "manger" occured!! Originally Posted by kyquiltlover1942
