Next week we are going to the Downstream Casino (5 miles from Joplin) and taking some supplies like leather work gloves, heavy duty trash bags, cases of bottled water. About 10 years ago, several communities in Oklahoma were hit by a F-5 tornado, our church organized work days - they need chain saws, lunch provisions, and any help they can get. It is so sad as these people will have to literally rebuild their lives.

Hoping all goes well as your sister and her community start the process of recovery. Blessings to you all.

Sincerest sympathy to those who lost dear ones and thanks to our Heavenly Father for those who are not affected. Thanks to helpful people in times like this. God bless you all.

Will we ever get a break from the disasters? Its been one after the other this year. I saw first hand what those tornados can do when they struck here in April. Unbelivable!

We all think disaster just wouldn't cross OUR doorstep but how easily who or what we know and love can be taken away from us. I hope they know how many millions of people across the country are praying for them. Please tell your sister.

This is only 273 miles from Fenton, Missouri where Joyce Meyer Ministries is....I bet they have teams there already!!
