Thanks Nanciana! And best of luck to you too!!!! There's no way we can't win in this contest! If we don't win the fabrics, at least we've lost some weight and had some fun!

Is there room for one more?

Not sure if I can keep up with the journal, but want to get moving and losing some extra pounds I no longer need

Have new goals this month, to drink water with everymeal, but breakfast and twice a week dinner. And to get up early and spend 2-3 hours per day outside in the yard or playing with the kiddos! Doing cardio 3 times per week, and lifting 2 times per week.

I'm in too. Just the incentive I need to keep walking the dog every night. She and I both need the exercise!

Hooray! First day and it was even a card night (we play cards once a week and eat lots of snacks). I had what I figured to be the 'least dangerous' snacks and no candy! OK, two pieces of hard candy at 14 calories each.
Hope everyone else did well today, too.

Everyone who has signed up has posted on the thread, remember this is just June 1. We usually have stragglers, especially since I have not closed the other thread yet.

Note to other dogwalkers - do not teach your dogs to say walk. One of mine is Siberian/Shiba and a talker. This evening she was yelling 'Walk' at me, which would then get the Border Collie mix excited. The BC only barks, but she's good at it. We went for a long walk.

Today I was on my feet too much and was in some pain. Tonight I over ate again. For me, there does seem to be a correlation between that kind of pain and overeating. One more reason to lose weight and become healthy.

Journaling?? I'm of the mind that there are things I don't want anyone finding. I may have to do the writing, then destroy it. My horrid childhood seems to be affecting me more emotionally as I age. My children have no idea. I may have to write some things in order to deal with them and then burn them. Odd time of year to be using the fireplace, but it'll work. Geez, MJ, what are you doing to us?? Judy
