I love Angels of any kind. They bring light into peoples lives in different ways. I needed an online name for the family board when my oldest son went to Iraq the first time, so I came up with Angellight...

The year I joined the board, I was the 'quilt mom' for our guild's raffle quilt, toting it to the different display places and shows.

Several years ago I decided that riding on the back of the motorcycle was fun - but I wanted to ride my own bike. Kind of a mid-life challenge thing for me. I was so proud of myself for achieving my goal and being able to ride on my own. I'd seen a patch for putting on motorcycle jackets that said Two-Wheeling-Woman, so I used that.

The first letter of my first, middle, and last name make up my board name plus I used to buy & sell Longaberger baskets(I have over 400+). Therefore dkabasketlady!!

My dad's favorite airplane was a world war 2 fighter..It was a p38-lightening...
I was diagnosed with leukemia 22 years ago [still on treatment ]..After the first 5 years of treatment ,I became pretty stable..I decided that I wanted to learn to fly an airplane...and That I better do it now or I may miss the chance..After long discussions with my husband [he wasn't really for the idea ]....he finally relented one day ...He came home with a surprise package for me..It was a red pouch filled with my flight log and manuels and an appointment for my first lesson...He really thought that after a lesson or two, that I would change my mind...
I didn't...I am a licensed pilot...When I signed up for my first e-mail account ,I used p38 flygirl...[ short version of a long story..]
