Ditter - If it wasn't for my dog Pip I wouldn't have a real friend. Dogs are from heaven and here just for us. Lynda

I think dogs are a form of Angel for us.

Celeste has a topic to post pictures of our pets and you can see all the other "just a dog" or "cats", etc. and post your own.

How wonderful! We have always had canine friends and presently I am mom to 2 labs and a poodle. Our life would not be the same without our 4-legged kids!

Yep My dog is never just a dog. He is my bestest friend always. I just put myself way into debt with his eye something I wouldn't do for myself. I cook for me not myself most times. LOL Nope not just a dog. I hope you don't mind Ditter I am going to pass this along to a friend who just lost hers. And people are saying It was just a dog get another. Hummph !! they sure don't understand.

And whenst they go to the "Above"...they leave their paw prints on our hearts forever & ever.

And something very uncanny I can tell you now......whenst my military Son was "taken" serving...his dog was with me & on the exact day well before I was informed....& doggie was restless all day long, making whining noises as well, going into his room the whole time...... & really like as if trying to say something.

Never had this before & then the very next day....dog died in his sleep at the end of Son's bed.....haunts me to this very day.

Love his smile; I get it; we have just 4 "just a dog". Life wouldn't be the same without them and their 2 feline friends.

moggie, so sorry for your loss. reading this gave me chills. I really think dogs know so much more than we ever gave them credit for.
