I wish I could come up with poems like this. My talents lie elsewhere. Would you mind if we used this little poem?

I made plastic canvas coasters years ago with the words "mug rug" stitched into the pattern. Still have a few of them which I use at Christmas time because they're made with red and green yarns.

I love the poem, and will give credit where it is due...I'll include a little "cq" at the end whenever I give it with a mug rug! Thank you!!
For those that haven't tried making these little gifts, DO!!! They are fun, quick, and always appreciated. I make mine using leftover or orphan blocks, or to try out a new pattern. Then I match them with an inexpensive mug...Instant Gift!
Thanks, Dian. That is so thoughtful and very much appreciated.

I wouldn't mind at all. Please be my guest.

How about room for a cookie!?

Thank you, everyone, for all your compliments. I certainly never expected the kind of response this little poem has generated. It's made me feel a little special and I am so appreciative.

Yes, you may use it if you like.

Thanks again,
Carol

thank you Carol that is so perfect
I like to give credits where it belongs So here your ditty will be signed Carol Q
You are definitely a talented person
I used to write poems and stories but they all got lost but 2. My parents didn't permit it and the notebook had to be kept at a freinds house and she was kicked out on her 18th birthday and never saw the notebook again.
I only have 2 left.I thought both would be out dated but one can be used today with the wars going on again unfortunily,

I love this! I've never made a mug rug and really never wanted to but now I want to make some just to use this poem! Thanks for adding to my to do list!
I was thinking this very same thing...

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm sorry to hear you had such misfortune with your poems. Why don't you post them on this board? I'd love to read them and I'm sure others would, too.
