Same here give her big hug from ALL of here. i think you all do feel the same way as me. Tell her not to worry because it was not her fault and God will be watching over her.

Not just thrift/consignment/garage sale items -- a friend of mine found bedbugs in her cruise stateroom! They removed her mattress, etc. & brought in another one, but she couldn't relax in it either, worrying about if they'd infested everything she'd brought on the cruise.

Yuck :-(. I got bit by something over the weekend (I think @ my nephew's soccer game), but you had me closely examining my sheets last night.

It is like head lice. It knows no ecomonic bearers. I always thought dirty nasty people got it but hasn't got anything to do with it. You can pick it up anywhere.

That's so awful for her and how could she know that bed bugs were in her chair. Even in the libraires they have themand you can come home with them on you or in a book or whatever. You never know when you might encounter them. So she should hold her head up high she didn't do anything wrong. I feel for her it's always the way people look down on you. Wait until they have their turn with something. Good Luck to her. Sue

Thank you for your comment. When I had posted my issue with them after we moved into this place a person on here commented that some not so clean person had brought them to the office. It made me feel really bad. We are not dirty people at my house. The bugs were here when we moved in. I never replied to the person that made the comment. Guess I should have, but felt so bad that I didn't. Although I am sure they meant well.

I live in Fl. and it seems there is either a palmetto bug or sugar ants walking by and it drives me crazy because I think when I see a bug in the house it means the house is dirty and I know better than that. My husband says we live in Fl. what do you expect. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about anything. Sometimes someone can say something and not mean it the way it comes out but you still feel bad. Stay well. Sue

Thank you so much for the warning. My DD just bought some leather furniture off CL, it's been sitting in my garage for about 3 weeks waiting for her move. Never once thought of bed bugs. Hopefully all is well!

The way they talk about it on TV it seems to be everywhere and I just saw that a hotel chain was getting bed bug insurance for the problem. Maybe because people travel so much today I guess they can be anywhere. Good Luck. Sue
