I would like to be there on the porch with you. It sounds lovely. However, it's not bad here in Oregon. We have had rain all week-end but I don't mind at all because the yard and flowers get watered and the birds can take a bath.

I celebrate the beauty God created!

Thank you for sharing Jan. Your thoughts bring up memories of my childhood when I would lay in deep grass on a summers afternoon watching the big puffy white clouds float by trying to make images in the clouds. Only the sounds of crickets calling to one another and the cows calling to be let into the barn for their evening milking. As I lay day dreaming the afternoon away.

Wish we had that kind of weather. The last month here has been so hot and no rain for sometime. About a week ago it started raining everyday and that has brought the temperature down some. Our A/C runs all the time.

I sat with my coffee and the newspaper with my dog Rosie at my side, we watch he birds, the squirrels and a ground hog all eating sunflower seeds from the feeder, all in peace eating together.
