When I made a trip to California 30 something years ago, hubby & I got to sit in the audience during the show & we talked with Monty! We enjoyed it

That's my only game show too, love what you can learn there. Wish I was better at questions to the answers, I'm just too slow, I need a half hour for each one

I heard recently that if you get all worked up in the audience you are more likely to be chosen as a contestant. They want that excitement on stage

I watch the Wheel and Jeopardy. I used to watch Price is Right but gave up after Bob Barker retired.
I went to the movie theater just before Xmas to watch Jumanji...didn't stay 1/2 hour. The screen sound was deafening.

speaking of Price is right show,
https://www.cnet.com/news/bill-gates...egeneres-show/
where the talk show host had one of the richest men in the world guess grocery prices.

don't feel foolish Bill, I could never guess either.

Is it true that only the "top winner" on Jeopardy gets the amount of money shown on his/her "podium"?

Yes, 2nd place gets $2,000 and 3rd gets $1,000 even if they ended up with a negative at the end. Jeopardy is the only game show I watch.

We gave up cable and got a small antenna for the roof. No more flashing commercials. Broadcast stations don’t use as many special effects in commercials, so I don’t have to keep covering my face during commercials. I have a flashing blue light problem. Hmmm....$50 antenna paid once, mine forever, or $139 a month for cable to be paid forever... Tough choice. More quilting toys! Yay!

Yes, Bear, that's true. But years ago they would only let the winner win 5 days and then they were done. Now they can go on and on- and some have.
I can't have any TV on until evening. It makes me nervous!! I guess it overstimulates me. I can't imagine having it on in the morning. Different strokes for different folks.........

We have been watching Andy Griffith and Mash. To us they are as funny now as when they were new, years ago. Just plain simple clean fun.
These are my Hubby's go to shows as well, but also add Fraiser to the mix too :-) I agree, clean & funny.
