Around here they frequent The Legions. My dh came home with steaks this summer, bought from a fella who was selling 5lbs of steak for $50. (I mentally cringed, but didn't say a word). He bbq'd 2 steaks that night, and...well...what can I say???? (they were NOT good) Now, my dh knows better than to buy meat sight unseen from a guy in The Legion who starts the conversation with, "psst...want to buy some good steaks...cheap????" lol

Actually, I buy meat from 2 different guys in trucks with the meat in the back freezer compartment. It's expensive, but way worth it. It's MUCH better than meat from the grocery store.
