Merry Christmas to you as well, and to everyone here. Our tree is up and decorated, the lights are up outside, and the Christmas shopping is done, but I've never felt less like Christmas in my life. Now that the vaccine is here, with a second one on the way, maybe things will start to normalize in the next 6 months or so. I miss the normal celebrations and get togethers, and I really miss seeing my kids and grandchildren!

Thank you. The hardships we've encountered this past year will hopefully make us even more grateful to see friends and family. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to everyone on this wonderful forum!

Not all of us want the vaccine... are we allowed to choose? There have been some bad side effects developing after some of the first guinea pigs, er, medical people took it. No thank you.

They are finding that early medical treatment is the solution to this virus.

Nobody is being forced to get the vaccine.

I don't believe it was necessary for you to ridicule the medical people who are putting their lives on the line every day to care for the sick ones.

Ridicule? They gave it to medical personnel first... that’s a fact. And some of them had bad reactions, another fact. Where’s the ridicule, selm? The term ‘guinea pigs’ refers to those who are experimented on. Haven’t you ever heard the term used before? I’m not planning on being a guinea pig, thank you.

Motley,

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a Happy New Year.

PS: I love your board name. It brings fond memories every time I see your posts. It was a family term used by DH's family. As they say, thanks for the memories.

Merry Christmas! This year DH and I will be staying home through the holidays without a visit to the kids or grandkids. It is a bit heartbreaking as it is a year since we have been together and little ones grow so much in a years time. We will so get the vaccine that will make it easier for us to move around as soon as it is available to us. I can hardly wait to be able to go back to church and visit with my family. Have a happy and blessed Christmas.
