I live in southern ohio and we are getting tons of rain. WOuld love to send some to Texas and elsewhere. I heard on the news that we have pretty much already gotten our normal years amount of rain. We had a drought last year.

It seems like there is terrible weather everywhere and it's having it's negative effect on us all. The sad part is there is nothing we can do about it but go on with our lives.

Here in the central Panhandle of Texas fireworks sale and use has been banned (thank goodness) we have had a lot of fires in the area. I only planted tomatoes this spring and they just withered away with me watering them. Sorry to hear about the farmers crops too wet or too dry.

Has anyone heard an update on MillieH's request for prayers for rain in Louisiana?

Ladies, prayers for rain to you. We also needed rain and yesterday God sent the rain. We probably received an inch.
Our Garden is smiling today. I did ask God to send rain from the flooding areas. Keep the faith

I am sorry to hear this but just think positive here for a minute. Your stash is getting more valuable by the minute. Jan

Such a sad story. Just no happy medium, we are setting records with all the rain we are getting and here is a place that desperately needs it.

I wish we could send them some rain. It has been a cool and wet spring and early summer.

From a quilting standpoint, looks like those quilting fabrics are going to do nothing but continue to increase in price. Ann in TN

Yes, it is hot and dry here in Texas. We've only had 2 small rains since January. We usually mow our yard every week but have only mowed once all year other than just a small border where we are watering the slab of the house. The poor deer and munching on anything they can and at this point I'm not begruding them anything in the yard!
