Never argue with a pig; you'll just get dirty and the pig likes that!

It's not a matter of "right" or "wrong", but what is the WISE thing to do.

I've also heard it as..........Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and annoys the h**l out of the pig

Consider the source. Two wrongs don't make a right. If it isn't done right...it isn't done. You will never regret buying quality. These sayings have helped me through some difficult situations and decisions.

T is it True? H is it Helpful? I is it Inspiring? N is it Necessary? K is it Kind?

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about........(a particular favorite of my parents)

I see the ever popular life is not fair I said it to my kids and with today's generation I wish more parents had not only said it but ment it.

When kids complain that they have to do a chore by themselves:

One little boy is worth one boy's work
Two little boys are worth a half day's work
Three little boys are worth no work at all

These are some of what my Mom used to say:
You make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
You've made you bed, now lie in it.
Just because a book opens and closes doesn't make it a prayer book.
No one is better than me and I am better than no one else.
Close the door, you weren't raised in a barn.
And if there was someone she didn't like; I wouldn't give them air if they were in a jug.

Maybe my mother was different. If something fell on the floor, she would say, "A little dirt never hurt anyone."

    1. Never try to teach a pig to sing, all you do is waste your time, and annoy the pig.
    2. Engage brain before starting mouth.
    3. This too shall pass.
    4. Be careful what you pray for, you might get it.
    5. Better to remain silent, and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
If you always do, what you have always done, The results never change. Change is the wings you give yourself.
