I just want to say thank you for all your input. I am trusting that God will have us where He wants us....just not sure right now if He and I want the same thing.LOL No really, God has led us thru so many many years and so many many trials and I know He is very close to us right now...Thanks so much it helps to have someone who isn't too close to the situation give their views...Bless you all, Jackie

Maybe God is leading you to a new (old) place. If you husband feels so much happier serving people he needs to find a place where it is safe for him to do so. Maybe the move back "home" is the place God is calling you too.

I am also a Pastor's wife. However He (we) served 20 years in the Navy first then went thru Seminary and he is now one of the Pastor's at the church we had already been attending for 8 years

Sounds like you have given this a lot of thought and I believe you will make the best decision for both of you. Best of luck with your move!!

Many prayers for the right answer. Sometimes life is about coming full circle, going back 'home' as you call it. Your husband just might get so inspired and start healing within himself. Take care and God bless.

Whether you go or not, please also consider ministering in a Hospice. The people there are so appreciative to have someone sit with their family member when in the last stages of this life. Also, our local nursing homes are always looking for pastors -it is so hard to find one because they are then pulling double duty.
