Cheap is too strong of a word. I prefer creative. Nothing wrong with something less expensive made into something very useful and works just as well. Good for you to find an alternative.

Nicely done! Looks very cheerful yet restful at the same time. I also love the curtains you have hanging, very nice to keep out any direct sun and provide privacy, yet you can see out the bottom. I'm impressed.

What a clever idea you had. The furniture looks very nice. Love the colors too.

I think your porch chairs look really good. It isn't about being cheap, it's about doing with what you have. And I budget everything. I like how your chairs look. Have you checked the price of outdoor cushions even at Walmart? People think I'm cheap because of the monetary budget for Christmas I keep ($300.00). Those who are on the gift list get a limited amount in the form of a gift card. I make other things.

I've used sheets many times for curtains, duvet covers, pillow shams, etc. I think they are one of the few bargains left to us. Your chairs look great and you are clever and frugal ... not cheap!!

Very nice! With critters in the house washable is a huge plus! A year or so ago I stumbled upon some sheets on clearance at WM. I got every one they had and paid 1.25 for each. Hadn't thought about seat cushions though!
