So glad to know someone else feels as I do about a sewing machine. Yes, "she" was like a child. We had 25+ years together and she never gave me ANY grief! ;)

So sad, wow and so much to loose. Hope u get the quilt back and the machine some how, u never know. Mayb if u put a ad in the local paper where u were and offer a reward it might help.

This is just horrible! I've had my Elba since I was 17 and I couldn't bear to be without it. I do hope you get another by some great fortune. What a shame we probably live too far away to borrow mine! Cheer up a little. Something good will come! Therese

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I have an Elna SU that I bought in 1973 and love it. I've been looking at new machines and looked at Elnas but there wasnt anywhere c close that would service them. So I'm still looking. I hope you are able to find something you like.
