Great job!!!! Men's tool and tool boxes are as important to them as our sew machine and fabrics are to us. He will appreciate the hard work you put into it.

Beautiful job! Nice to work together on a project, especially since now he can help you keep your quilty stuff in good repair.

My toolbox has been outside on my enclosed front porch for over 15 years and I guess a little elbow grease will clean up nicely. Hope I have a good of luck as you have. !! GREAT job !!

Nice work on that. My hubby has one of those...didn't ever hear it called a "Kennedy" toolbox, but just a machinist's toolbox. Thanks for the education. I sure wouldn't want to rework one like you did though! Kudos to you!

    Hi Tess,

    It is a 1953 Ford F-100 4 x 4 that sits on a 1979 Bronco chassis.

Kennedy is the brand name for this toolbox.

I'm actually jealous! I don't need any more tools, but that tool box turned from a pumpkin to a golden carriage! Just terrific! Good for you!
