My New Buddy
Hi, I thought I'd share a pic of my new buddy...his name is Eddie. I'm in love! My hubby said he's the smartest dog he's ever owned! We've had him a month now. He's 10 weeks old and learning to sit and stay. We're also working with him letting us and others mess with his face and feet and brush him since he will require extra grooming. The 2 cats absolutely hate him. Lucy, the indoor cat hisses and growls at him whenever he gets anywhere near her but loves to eat his dry food. Princess the Rag Doll kitty refused to come into the house for a week and I had to finally trick her in with moist food at the doorway then lock her in for 4 days. She's still in a snit but will come in about once a day now and give me some loves.

He is ADORABLE. I love how the cats react. sooo funny. I have a Russian blue kitty, Zoey, 4 yrs old.she
won't let us bring anything on 4 legs into the house. she put that foot down, and we abide by her rules.
or else there will be #&// to pay.

He is wonderful.
I have an Eddie, too! She is a little mutt from the pound and I love her to pieces. You are very smart to handle Eddies feet, ears and brushing and handling toenails. I trained my Eddie to be okay with nail clipping by letting her hear the sound of the clippers and holding them near her toes. If she stayed still I would give her a tiny treat. She is also trained to sit at the door when she comes inside so I can wipe her muddy feet and belly.
Have a great time with your Eddie and be sure to give some extra lovin' to those cats!
peace
