Congrats to you and the happy couple. Now go buy fabric for all the money you could've saved not having a big wedding to help pay for.

Congratulations and much shared loved to your daughter and new son-in-law.
Where or what ceremony is just that - a lifetime of love is what makes a marriage. So many today do not even consider making the commitment. Bless you all.

Congratulations to all! Been reading all the comments on how many did the same and were married for a long time. I love it. I am still married to the same man almost 47 years and we had a small church wedding that he was almost late for. He works at being late for everything to this day! LOL

i did that once, too--and nearly 43 years later, i'm still married to him. i hope your daughter has even half the fun and adventures we have had--and that her marriage lasts at least as long!! (and i hope she makes quilts, too!)

How did you feel when you found out? I was really upset when my daughter called and said she was married.
