My DD ex BF was from GA, the first time they went to the grocery store he asked DD to get him a buggy. She said have the Amish arrived. LOL she didn't know what he wanted and neither did I. Who would have thought a shopping cart was called a buggy??????

All dark carbonated beverages are called coke, regardless of the brand, with the exception of an RC!

So true and PROUD to be from Alabama Ya'll.

And as my husband says he is ONE OF THE CHOSEN FEW TO BE BORN IN ALABAMA! He was born and lived on the same street (29 years)until we got married. Then we moved 4 hours away from where he was raised.

Thank you for posting all the valuable tips for the northerners. I will send a copy to my kin back east (which is actually more north than east) as a helpful guide for if they ever decide to cross the Mason Dixon line.

Every soft drink is a coke. period. As in, "what kinda coke do you want?"

Now I was born and raised in Texas and we called it ALL "Coke". "What kind of Coke ya'll want"...Dr. Pepper, Sprite, etc. LOL :)
I still say ya'll 'cause I'm from the big 'ole state of Texas and I'm not fixin to give up my "Texan" status. LOL :D
Oh...and by the way...the only thing worse than a person who "needed killin" is someone who "ain't worth killin".
