OK, here's a way to get a tiny glimpse into other people's brains. Or personalities. Or whatever! LOL.

Name your top five favorite movies of all time. ONLY FIVE. This was hard even for me, because I wanted to list six. But I eliminated one, with great difficulty.

If you just start listing off the top of your head STOP AT FIVE!!!

    Here are mine:

    1. Somewhere in Time
    2. The Scarlet Pimpernel (with Jane Seymore)
    3. Fantasia
    4. Marnie
    5. All That Jazz (with Neil Diamond)

It's so hard to go back through this cluttered brain of mine. It would be easier to see a list of movies all the way back to the 60's.....

What comes to mind (not necessarily in order)

    P.S. I Love You
    Monsters, Inc.
    A Christmas Story
    K-Pax
    Shawshank Redemption

Oh, my ... I'm going to look awfully silly here, I think!

    1. The Birdcage (Robin Williams/Nathan Lane)
    2. Somewhere in Time (filmed on Mackinac Island in Mich.)
    3. What Dreams May Come (another Robin Williams film ... for the visual effects)
    4. Mrs. Doubtfire (yeah, I know, Robin Williams again...)
    5. Calendar Girls (naked English ladies ... how funny is that?)

Yup, not a "slasher" movie kind of gal. Give me a good comedy any day ......

    My top five are....

    The Wizard of Oz
    Grease
    Dirty Dancing
    You've Got Mail
    Chocolat

To mollymct.... a few years back I rented Amelie and the subtitles were in French. I don't speak or read much French, but it was fun just making up my own words.

Jeanelle-at least it's visually entertaining! Worth renting again with English subtitles!! I love your list. How could I forget Grease? I can't pass it if it comes on tv.
