I have been crocheting those small hand towels that button over a drawer pull in the kitchen or a towel bar in the bathroom. I'm making them for family and quilting buddies. WalMart has 100% cotton yarn to use for these. It only takes about three hours to crochet one. There are free patterns for them on the internet.

last year I made pillow cases - embroidery - names on them - packed them with each persons presents!
Each person's pillow case had the things they liked best - Some were hunting, snow, sewing, pocketbooks, high heels,
mindcraft, music, soccer, coffee, birds and bible verse. Oh and one Van Go starry night.

Football themed mug rug for hubby, table runners for my two favorite neighbors and snuggle quilts for the 3 grand kids. A few people who work with hubby get homemade cookies and fudge. My son and my three best friends get homemade pickles and jams.
