I had a rat one time, got up through septic system too.

I followed this thread all day yesterday. I am terrified of snakes. I dreamed about one getting in my bathroom last night. I will turn a light on and look before I sit for the rest of my life!

When I was a little kid, we'd go visit my Grandma out in the hills of Missouri. She had an outhouse... I was afraid there would be snakes in it. Mom told me not to worry because no self-respecting snake would be in that pile of yuck down in the hole.

I only have good memories of me and my cousin peeing at the same time. It was a "2-holer". I thought that was really special! lol
