New Years Eve To Party or Not To Party?
#43
Stayed home. SIL, BIL, DH and I ate a great dinner, played some Yahtzee and in bed by 10. (DH worked a 15 hour shift on NYE and had to be to work at 3AM today). Had some family over for New Years Day dinner. ahhhh, now time to surf the board.

Since I was gone to SD from Dec 21, to 29th, got my mail from the mail room last night and was going to put on pj's and read, since I am fighting a virus again. Ran into a few folks in my bldg. going to Fri. night Bingo. Well, attended and had fun. Never been into bingo, but at 68, think it is OK to acquiese. Had fun and the coffee and goodies were good. But, I do not like being 68.

Always at home not a drinker or a party kind of gal. Me and the dogs welcome in the New Year while my hubby was a sleep as he had to be up at 1:45 am to get ready for work and his long drive 87 miles one way.

We stayed home...I made chicken wings, dips with chips and crackers. One of the kids and her family came for a couple hours in the afternoon and then hubby began to feel ill with the same cold I'd been nursing for 2 weeks. So he laid on the couch and fell asleep, while I watched old dvds until 10:30. The old year left and the new year arrived without me waiting and watching! LOL! Guess my age had a lot to do with it, too.
