Lots and lots of quilting books, usually the library has lots. Sorry for what you are going though I hope you feel better. Please try to do what the doctors say, I wouldn't want you to get any worst.

I agree with everyone. Time to catch up on the QB and read tutorials, etc. YOu can learn lots here. Somethings you normally wouldn't read. It will be hard but you can do it. Hope the time goes quickly for you.

Well, I guess you could get a different doctor......

I would be heading for the library, checking out the "Elm Creek Quilters" books by Jennifer Chiaverini and re-reading them for starters...

I had that in my left thumb & went to the dr right away. I know the pain you're feeling. Maybe purchase Quilt Design Wizard & start designing, or even just coloring LOL!

I did find some relief w/my chiropractor who used cold laser therapy. But do follow doctor's orders. Don't want to be away from sewing permamently!

I now have a splint on the left hand too. I can move my fingers, but that's about it. Ice them both 5 X/day. Work is almost impossible. I think I'll have to take a leave.

Oh wow. I've had that also. It is rough. I had a baby in diapers at the time. Hang in there it is a long road. I had to have cortisone shots which helped temporarily. That was 21 years ago and I still have problems with it. Follow those dr's orders!
