Hugs and prayers for all of you. Having a critically ill child is a terrible thing for a parent to go through. God bless all of you.

Prayer DOES work! It is an honor to be able to pray for someone we don't even know but know that all our prayer are heard. I just today found this thread. Could someone tell me a little bit about the situation? What happened to this child to put her in this condition?

The Babe. I believe that she had a stroke. Morgan is only 7 years old. There are two threads before this one talking about it. I don't know how to post a link but but if you click on Jamie's name at the start of this thread and go to the topics started by her you will find one called "gotten worse" or something like that and the other is "taking one day at a time" or something like that. I will have to find out sometime how to put a link onto a reply so you can just click on it to get there.

My normaly perfectly healthy 7 year old daughter suffered a massive stroke, brain clots, and brain bleeds, last sunday I think the 15th...she is in the picu...she has had 2 brain surgeries so far..one to remove a clot, and part of her brain, the other to remove part of her scull...I am told she will have significant deficits, we dont know much else right now, other than she can't use the left side of her body at the moment.

I didn't expect a direct answer from you but it is very much appreciated. Guardian angels are surrounding your child at this very moment and they will always be with her. Prayers do work and I know there are a multitude of them for your precious daughter. God be with you and your family.

well I couldnt be at the hospital today, due to kids, and myself sick..so I needed distractions...sorry I get to emotional thinking about it, so I tend to leave a lot out of her story...my baby girl is amazing though..and no matter how well she heals from this, she will always be my amazing baby girl..my heart couldn't possibly be more broken though.
