The question has been raised many times in kiddom and in adult hood, "if you could eat one thing for the rest of your life what would it be"........ For me it is Peanut Butter and Jelly and now I hear that the one food that I live and die by is going to go up in price by 40%?

    Ouch!!

So how many of us are going to run to the store and buy up this delectable treat before it gets equal to the price of gas?

My DH eats Peanut butter daily. I'm sure we will scrimp by elsewhere to insure PB is on the shelf:) I draw the line I will not give up fabric for PB!!!!!

Not a really big PB eater but sometimes I just love a chunky PB sandwich, no jam or jelly. Make some PB cookies once in awhile. Better get me a couple of jars of super chunky to tide me over.

DH won't even taste any PB. He's hated it since childhood when it used to separate and the PB was so thick it stuck to the roof of your mouth.

I'm not a pb lover. My daughter gave me a small jar of it about a year ago, it still is in my cupboard, unopened.

And I bet your dairy farmers didn't get a 52% raise for their milk! :)

So, what you're saying is I made a huge mistake missing that case lot sale last month (sigh). I have kids, we NEED peanut butter. I usually find an empty jar of peanut butter either in the closet or under the bed when I clean out my daughters room.

I heard about it- they said that b/c of the price of cotton farmers planted more cotton and less peanuts. I didn't realize it would be 40% though- OUCH!
