My car is a minivan with the rear seats out, so hard for something to hide there!!
I am beginning to think I may have imagined the whole thing, but I just KNOW how I saw the two hoops there in the shop, a big one and a smaller one, I can just picture the smaller oval as I saw it and remember the whole thing. And I know I took both of them.
All my fabric is stored in xerox paper boxes on shelves so no place for it to slip in there.

Same here.....he doesn't need to know every thing I have. LOL

I lost my external hard drive that I use for backup. Looked all over the place, gave up & bought a replacement. A few months later I found the missing one inside a box of fabric between the layers. I blame the dog.

Did you wrap the hoop with fabric strips; getting it ready to use? Did the hoop "morph" into something else?

I had the same thing happen. A friend gave me a tee to back for a wallhanging and I put it on the back of a chair but when I went for it --no tee! Thinking I had scooped it up with fabrics I completely restacked my entire stash.(it needed it) 4 hours and a clean stash later I found it under my shirt on a different chair!!! I know it will turn up!

We have a black monster of a cat that could walk away with it! He has been known to get his treat cup off the table and drop it in front of DD's door when he want some. The Rubbermaid 2 cup container has his fang holes to prove it. Good luck finding it.

Perhaps if you finish your Quilting Fairy Godmother and hang her in a prominent place it will keep Emily's mischief at bay! LOL
