I have discovered that I post things in wrong places, can't find private messages, I'm sure I've sent and send the same message over and over again.

I hope each of you will forgive me. I may be getting old  but I don't know how old "old" is.

I will admit to wanting to be a real "quilter", but I'm just a "wanna be" infant quilter enjoying all the many friends, I'm meeting on this board.

I'm sure I posted this in the wrong place too. Let's see where it ends up.

Is there a "right" or "wrong" place? I read all where ever they are posted.

I don't think it matters to most folks. It sure doesn't matter to me. Just glad people are posting somewhere so I'll have something to do ALL day! :-D :-D

Welcome to the wonderful world of "old age confusion". I too have had my topics moved. But it doesn't bother me, just as when my family ignores something I say like I am invisible and unheard. We are all a wonderful happy family here, and I am happy we have each other, no matter where we put things. Now where is that 6" ruler I had a moment ago?!?!

Thank you for making me smile this morning...I read everything wherever it is posted...so keep on posting wherever you want...if it winds up somewhere else, most of us will get it anyway...Naomi

For the private messages, be aware that there is an "inbox/sent" option in the top middle of the page.

When you first click on "Private Messages", it takes you directly to your inbox; however, you have a choice to click on the "sent" box to see what PMs you have actually sent.

Conversely, when you reply to someone's PM, you are still in the "sent" area afterwards and may want to click on "inbox" to see that you actually replied to a PM. Once you reply, the incoming PM is marked (replied) next to it.

Figuring this out has helped me a lot!

I know your pain. My DD talked me into buying this thing and was going to teach me how to use it. Her DH wanted to go to law school in Lubbock, Tx. so away they went and I still have not learned what I am doing on this thing. The best thing she did for me was getting me started here before she left. It has been great even though I do most things wrong.

We all post in the wrong places and reply to the wrong places. That's what makes it fun, the scavenger hunt. lol Keep posting.
