Go to your local pharmacy and get the charcoal tablets that are for humans. Give one to your beloved pup once or twice a day til his tummy calms down.
You should also talk to your vet about changing his dog food.
I had that problem with my male Airedale. The charcoal tabs worked wonders (and still do if he has an occasional situation).
Our pup is 8 yo and he is eating Science Diet Light Small Bites. Even though he weighs 85 lbs, the small bits are good because of the digestion since it is smaller. I put a small amount of canned food in with it to spruce it up for him. I buy Harmony brand roast venison. It is good protein and low fat.
BTW I also give my dogs fish oil capsules (human kind) twice a day. When I got my male (both are rescued dogs) his coat was very coarse. Now it is like velvet.

There's a real simple fix for gas. Give them plain yogurt. About a Tbl spoon for small dogs and 2-3 Tlb for large dogs. Once or twice a day. I've done this for years with mine and they never have gas. Good luck everyone.

When I lived on a farm, my black lab's doghouse was right under the bedroom window. In the middle of the night, her, uh......."odor" would sometimes wake me up - I couldn't believe it!!!

Ha. Got a good chuckle out of that. Both my dobies sleep with me and now that its getting cold they sleep under the covers with me and wow. Sometimes I feel like the couch is the best choice for me. I don't know how my husband can sleep through but he does. Thanks for all the chuckles.

What cracks me up is when our boxer lets one go and then looks at us all offended. He can't seem to figure out it's him that did it!

Mine is around 90 lbs too. My little girl is about 40 lbs so I can still handle her sitting on me. Shelby's favorite spot is to sit on top of Brody's head. Not good when he gets up fast, she does a nose dive to the floor. Just what she needs, a flatter nose :D

ha ha know that well - my elderly Lab used to have that problem but I changed her food only because I now have a terrier and wanted one that suited them both (small bits) and the the problem has more or less gone - the food is free from anything artifical and reduced cereal but I think some dogs are just prone to this

Reading these comments has me laughing still....just too funny.
Have you tried feeding your dog/dogs the raw diet. It is all naturalm no chemicals, no byproducts and no additives. You actually feed less than with the processed foods because the dog system is able to use every bit of the foods instead of passing it out (one way or another). It really does make a differenct.
