A friend's son (+/- 3yrs.old)had been potty trained. She was so delighted! Once,he said he need to "tinkle." She was loading the washer & told him to go ahead. He was in there a long time. When she popped her head in to ask what was going on, he earnestly told her "I'm writing my name on the wall."

That is easy.....put him back wards on the potty..and put a few cherrios in the toilet and tell him that he has to sink them....and then reward him with M & M's when he is done...I had my son trained in 2 weeks that way.....

Just one of many JOYS of having kids. Just wait unitl he becomes a teenager, you will look back on this time as being much easier. I have 1 boy and 2 girls. My kids wore cloth diapers with big diaper pins. They are 41, 45. 49.
Good luck.

This is humor - my DH told me when he was young - about 8 years old in country school, the boys all lined up to see who could pee the highest over the fence; well it being a wooden fence, most could not get over - but one did and the wind came up right at the time he got it over - and he got it blasted back on him- no more trying ever went on after that!!

And boys will be boys - he never lived it down - every class reunion he gets reminded of it- cruel humor!

My youngest DD is going thru this right now. She got him a potty and he used it one day then he started running into the corner and peeing in the floor! He thinks it's cute. She is about to pull her hair out!
