    I love coupons (or a great deal) and it certainly sounds like you got one! I like that you're a "do it yourselfer" and transformed something nice into something amazing! It's a beautiful fabric and suits the chairs perfectly. I agree, protect those seats; so you can enjoy them for years! Awesome job, gals!

    I have only ever done chair seats, but if I ever find a wing back chair, I do want to try and recover it. I will help you by email if you like. I do have a step by step book that shows how. I will go see what the title is so maybe you can get a copy. It shows how to make the pattern, and how to attach it.

    The thing that amazed us was how the new fabric made the wood appear so much lighter and brighter!

    I can relate to you being excited finding the fabric you like and re-doing your chairs, it's so uplifting to yourself in doing this and feeling some pride! Wonderful fabric and great job!!

    I've not seen Teflon spray but the Scotchgard works great. Just make sure you either cover the wood or wipe the wood off directly after. You did a great job and the new fabric looks great.
