The woman at the bird store told me that I will see a lot of hummingbirds in September when they start to migrate across the gulf. If you put out feeders then you should see a lot of them.

I just keep putting out new feeders with different foods---you have to have them out for a while before the birds find them. Give them 3-4 weeks, at least. We did not see a single Goldfinch until we put out the sock feeder---it is filled with thistle. It took about a week-now it is covered almost all day with birds. (I bought the feeder and the thistle at Walmart)
