I laughed reading your post...a friend of my parents, closer to age 70ish...got a GPS..thought it was a good idea, until one day he was on the phone with his wife and she heard a lady talking in the background and asked her husband who he was with..they had a good chuckle about it..now he calls the lady giving directions his mistress..

This is so funny!!! For the life of me I can't remember my reusable bags, no matter how many I have or how cute they are!
I happen to love electronics but can't keep up with them. Good thing I have kids to help! I've drawn the line with Twitter and texting though. Not interested in either one!! Just don't take my Ipods or laptop away from me :D:D

I don't know how the rest of you feel but I WANT to hear a reaction from the other person on the phone, not see "lol lol" all the time
I don't care to hear when you go to the bathroom and then go fix a sandwich and so on and so on...............
I have a life and they need one too.......

While I am not 50 yet I certainly identify with what was said. Thanks for the chuckle.

Funniest thing I read in a long time. I know exactly how you feel!! I really have to forward this to my kids and most young people I know. I truly can't get over the folks who walk around carrying their I-phone all the time like they can't get along without it. Geez!

I'm busting up with laughter...this about sums me up and I'm only 47.

I've had a cell phone for 5 years and have never turned the ringer on because I don't like the sound of a ringing phone. I have it for my commute..and most days that's where it stays...in the car.

Thanks for the laugh...it does a heart good!

I am glad to see that I am not the only one having a problem with "new fangled" stuff. Got a new camera about 2 months ago and just took it out of the box this week. Oh, well, onward and upward.
