I am restoring a rocking chair. It has a metal plate on the back that reads Paoli collectors item 1776 bicnetennial. In side the bottom cushion I found a label:
1776-3

15

8803
APR 22, 1976

I can not find any information about this rocker. It is not the one with the eagle on the head of the back. I do not know anything about vintage furniture or where to look. Can anyone help me............

Could not find anything specific about the chair, but Paoli is an office furniture designer. On their "about us" page it states that 1976 was the year they ceased making residential furniture - so you've probably got one of the last pieces.
