peroxide vs' bleach

peroxide will stop the bleaching action in bleach. Back in the 70's when splattering some jeans with bleach was the thing to do, we were taught to use use peroxide to stop the bleaching action so the fabric wouldn't be eaten up.

Yes, Bev - even colors. It doesn't hurt the fabric at all. :-)

Even colors? Hubby is the only one who wears white and I can't just do a load with 6 small things
HUH? I prefer small loads. Easier to fold and put away fast. I detest having a big load of laundry to fold and put away. Small loads are less stressful for me. Laundry is not something I like so I do it the easy way for me. DH can do it the way he likes if he prefers to. :wink:

Nope, didn't know and I'll pass unless it's an emergency. I have to wonder if they use bleach in our tap water here, it smells so of chlorine. My skin and hair smell like chlorine after I shower, it's that bad.

oh not me. i'd rather do 2 large loads and get it over with. i fold while watching tv so it goes faster.

EEEEEEEWWWWWWWW I know what you mean. It got to wear we buy spring water in bottles now.
