Please, please, please, go around your homes and get rid of those cords and replace either with strips or 3 prong cords. You really don't want what has transpired happening, this is not fun at all. I've lost both of my machines in this, tons of my notions and fabrics. Some I can't even find! Disintegrated!!! All my projects, gone! Pressies, gone!

We lucked out that we were home when it happened or I would not have a house. That is not worth a $2 item on any budget.

Please keep yourself and your families safe!!!! Especially with the holidays coming, everyone uses those cords. Don't! Please.
Thank you for the heads up and sorry for your losses.
Like others have said please don't hesitate to PM us with some of your needs to get back to quilting once again.
Hope that your Orange quilt inspecter is safe as well.

So very sorry for your loss! I also know the utmost feeling of helplessness in having a house fire. Mine was many years ago but the memories are fresh.
If you need help restocking your "stuff" please let us know. send me a PM if you would and I would be happy to send a package.

Wow no words can say how sorry we are for your loss. In our house we have a lot of high end computers and electronics so I have everything plugged into a surge protector. I'm glad you and your family are all ok!

Susan, the power strips I have do have a red light on them. You mentioned when the strip is losing its power, the red light will dim. Does that mean you have to purchase a new one?
