    Marsye, corn won't pop without moisture, try a couple of drops of water. It could be the corn, not the oven.

    What wattage does your microwave need to be. Mine's an '86 and doesn't pop the bags well at all. It's 600 watt model. That's probably my problem. Newer ones are at 1000 watts or higher.

    Not really sure, will have to check with DH. I know we have had one, like, forever...I am almost sure we used it with our old micro, but not sure of it's wattage. If I find out, I will let you know.

    It doesn't give a wattage for usage, just gives a minimum internal size micro. Of note, it does say not to use the popcorn setting on your microwave. Hope this helps. It is available on Amazon for under $15.
