It's official we bought our retirement home! Signed paperwork last week!
Water is good, we are in Klamath County so taxes are low and it's the best deal we could have asked for! Now, we are getting ready for a garage sale and trying to downsize big time! Hoping to get moved over around next April if all our plans work out! Happy days ahead!

Well, we hope to have our home listed for sale this month. Tomorrow I need to pack up most of my sewing room. We need to paint and make this room look as spacious as we can. This is going to be hard saying good bye to most of my things for a time, but it's a must. My husband has been off for a month and a half, doing all those honey-dos that needed to get done. House is really looking good! We are hoping and praying this house sells fast! I know we need a miracle here! We are staying positive and focusing on our retirement home in La Pine, Oregon! Can't wait to be there!

I live in La Pine!!!!! Where do they have the property???? There's a caution on a few areas. And sadly, yes, the prices are some of the lowest in Oregon. (sad for me, not for you!!!!). Life IS laid back, you can wear sloppy jeans to the store....LOL LOL I've been here for almost 7 years and moved from the Willamette Valley. I LOVE it -- the sun shines almost EVERY day of the year --- it can be cold as all get out, but heck, I'm retired, I don't HAVE to go out!!!! Let me know (by PM if you want) where you're considering and I'll explain further.

Good luck! We moved to LV from SF Bay Area because we inherited a house. Enjoying the change and less traffic. Eventually plan to visit Oregon (especially Ashland for the Shakespeare and Sisters for the Quilt show).
